There are a number of free calorie counters available on the internet. These programs allow you to select a specific food and it will tell you how many calories are in one serving. It will also tell you what the recommended serving size is. If you are on a diet, you owe it to yourself to check out the free calorie counters out there.

What should you look for in a calorie counter and how will you know when you have found a good one? This article looks at the basic components of free calorie counters and shows you some of the sophisticated options out there.

Free calorie counters should include basic groceries. An apple is an apple is an apple, no matter how you slice it. Included in this category is dairy, eggs, fruit, meat, poultry, seafood, and vegetables.

But, so much of what we eat today is processed food. So, a good program will also include various branded foods. For instance, you should be able to find out that one serving of Jif Extra Crunchy Peanut Butter equals 2 tablespoons and has 190 calories in it. Additionally, you might find that 16 percent of the food comes from protein, 71 percent from fat, and 14 from carbs. It has 2 grams of fiber.

Sophisticated free calorie counters also include sections for popular recipes. You might learn that the popular Indian dish Chicken Tikka has 232 calories.

Additionally, many free calorie counters include the foods from popular restaurants and fast food outlets. You might be surprised at just how many calories some of your favorite restaurant foods have in them. And, you should take note that most of the time you will consume fewer calories if you go to a hamburger shop than a sit down restaurant.

The calorie counters depend on your ability to judge a serving. Too many times what we judge to be enough for a meal is really multiple servings. To help you with this, the free calorie counters divide foods into their standard suggested serving sizes and tell you what the weight in grams for that amount is.

While most programs simply list the calories in foods, some free calorie counters have a companion program that shows you just how many calories you’ve burned by doing specific activities.

Everyone knows that the way you lose weight is to burn more calories than you consume in a given period. To lose 1 pound, you must burn 3500 extra calories than you eat. These calories burned calculators help you determine just how much you can eat based on how much activity you have in a specific day.

Further, if you have an extra cookie at lunch, you will know how many extra minutes you have to hit on the treadmill after work with these programs.

If you are trying to lose weight, search out the internet for one of the free calorie counters. You will gain a lot of insight into your diet when you do.

Discover The Importance Of A Healthy Diet And Exercise

Just hearing the terms “work out” or “exercise” causes many people to cringe. Yet it is a proven fact that exercise is an important concept for a healthy body and diet routine. Dieting alone will help anyone lose weight, but they must include exercise and working out; as part of the regime to maintain the weight loss and healthy body.

Learning to incorporate an exercise program, as easy as walking daily, will increase your weight loss with a healthy diet. Since many people are stationery for most of their day, adding the exercise to their lives will increase the benefits of the diet. Increasing the amount of activity increases the effects of the healthy eating habits.

Eating a healthy diet with a plan rich in protein, good carbohydrates, grains, Omega-3, and low fat foods is necessary for a serious dieter. Adding fresh vegetables and fruits to the diet provides the essential nutrients to the body. Removing the condiments and fried foods from the diet also is a great way to improve the eating habits.

Avoiding sugary and fatty foods in the diet will increase weight loss when including regiments of walking, jogging, swimming, and riding a bicycle. A healthy diet with exercise creates a healthy life style that will provide long-term weight management as well as a healthier body that is resistant to diabetes, heart disease, and other health complications.

Add water to the daily diet. Drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water to keep the body hydrated and flush out the toxins and fat from the body. The body needs water to have healthy lungs, kidneys, liver, hair, nails, bones, and teeth. Water in the diet also helps the person feel full (temporarily) and removes the urges to eat to relieve the feelings of hunger.

Avoid caffeine in coffee, tea, and sodas. The caffeine is not a good chemical for the body. Many feel caffeine energizes them but in reality, it actually causes fatigue when the levels drop thus creating weight gain due to the lack of energy to be active.

The more a person is active the more they will lose weight. They will have more energy, from the higher levels of exercise, which will then cause them to burn the stored fat. Losing the stored fat decreases the weight and provides a better looking body for many people.

Using a healthy diet combined with exercise and workouts can become a standard way of life, leading to a longer life span and a healthier body; that can fight off diseases and even the common cold. The well-maintained body is able to fight off heart disease, obesity, diabetes, cancer and other diseases. People have changed their lives with a healthy diet, a good exercise program; consequentily adding more productive years to their life span.

Heart Healthy Foods

When thinking about heart disease, we know that a change in diet is often needed. In today’s world of fast and convenient foods, people think more of saving time than saving calories and fat. If we can be just a little bit more conscious about what we are eating, then we can greatly reduce our risk of heart disease in the future.

One of the best ways we can change up our diet is by restricting our use of solid fats like butter, bacon, and gravies. These are known as Saturated and Trans fats. We often use these fats to help prepare the food we cook. Some great low-fat alternatives are olive oil, yogurt, and fresh fruit. Try to also be label-conscious and read the contents. Look for ingredients like polyunsaturated fats – found in nuts and seeds – and monounsaturated fats – found in canola and olive oil. Be wary of the boxes labeled “reduced fat” though as they often still contain the bad fats.

Something else we can do is to choose meats that are lower in fat. Fish is always a healthy choice and most even contain the heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids our bodies need. These omega-3 fatty acids can actually reduce our levels of triglycerides. Lean cuts of pork, beef, chicken breast and turkey are also great choices. Beans and other legumes are a wonderful meat alternative, while still providing our bodies with needed protein. Soy and tofu have become popular in recent years also adding to the meat alternatives list.

The largest dietary change we can make is adding more fruits and vegetables. Many Americans do not even eat half of the servings the food guide recommends as it is not convenient. Fruits and vegetables are chock full of vitamins and minerals, the things we need each and every day. Soluble fiber is often found in fruits and vegetables and is an excellent source for reducing our cholesterol levels. Fruits and vegetables have also been proven to help reduce heart disease. By snacking on these tasty treats, we are less likely to snack on something higher in fat.

It is easy to keep fruits and vegetables in the fridge ready for snacking as most just need a quick rinse in water and we can munch away. Sometimes even keeping vegetables such as carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower already cut up in the fridge or a bowl of fruit on the counter makes it easier for us to grab and go if we are in a rush.

Whole grains, as found in bread and pasta, are another great dietary change we can make to help our heart. Choosing 100% whole wheat breads and pastas gives us the nutrients we need that we cannot get from other foods. We also need to be aware of our salt intake. Salt is a huge heart enemy resulting in higher cholesterol levels. Processed foods often have added salt, so by choosing fresher foods, we are cutting our salt intake.

By adding more of these foods to our diets on a daily basis, not only are we reducing our risk of heart disease, but an added side effect is weight loss!

Feeders Of Obese Women-What Are They

Feeders of obese women are part of a subset of men who enjoy feeding women to make them gain weight. These men gain a sense of sexual power and control when they feed their partners and make them heavier. While some might think it means any man who cooks for an overweight wife or girlfriend, feeders of obese women actually fall into a specific category.

People who are feeders are usually referred to as FA also. FA stands for fat admirers. These men enjoy being in a relationship with heavy women. The women can range from a little bit overweight to morbidly obese. Some feeders of obese women like to start out with a girlfriend who is just a little bit overweight and feed her until she’s obese.

There are men who look specifically for very obese women weighing 400 pounds or more because they find it sexy. Others want someone very full-figured but not obese. This particular group of people doesn’t just contain one type of person. It encompasses many different likes and dislikes.

The woman who enjoys being fed, overfed and sometimes even force fed is known as a feedee. There are also men feedees who enjoy having a woman who likes to feed them, too. Women who fall into this category who like to feed men or simply find bigger and heavier men attractive are as FFA or female fat admirers.

Not every man who is a fat admirer is one of the feeders of obese women. Very often they simply like a heavyset woman and find her attractive. They don’t always have interest in feeding her to make her heavier. Some just want to accept her the way she is.

The feeder/feedee relationship is often referenced as a kink or a fetish. Some people may even call themselves feeders of obese women and feedees if they’re not trying to gain weight, but just enjoy food and don’t intend to cut back to lose weight.

Some who take part in the fetish combine food with sex, and play games with food as a turn-on. And while the women have to be willing to be fed to the point of weight gain, it’s a decidedly unhealthy relationship for the woman because of the poor diet and extra pounds.

There are women who end up bed-bound or needing a wheelchair because they become so obese they can’t care for themselves. And some go into the situation knowing this will be the result.

For women who are only a little heavy, the feeding causes them to gain weight, raising their risks of things like high blood pressure, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, stroke and other maladies.

For women who are already obese who get into a feeder/feedee relationship, they keep themselves extremely heavy and their health dangers skyrocket.

Adults have the right to engage in whatever behavior they want, destructive or not. But feeders of obese women go beyond caring for their partners no matter what their sizes; they contribute to their poor health.

Green tea benefits: Tried and Tested

Green tea has been around for quite some time now. The Japanese are particularly keen on consuming, what, a liter of the stuff a day? If you notice their society, which is a green-tea guzzling one at that, they’re pretty strong and healthy. Heck, if you even look over their broad range of media, ranging from traditional classic movies to modern animated media, you’re bound to find more than your fair share of tea-drinking scenes.

And you’ve got to wonder: what is it about green tea that obsesses a nation?
Scientists have asked that question too, and they’ve come up with some pretty interesting materials attesting to numerous green tea benefits:

• Cancer – green tea has been linked to lower cancer rates in population-based studies. Scientists suspect that something called ‘polyphenols’ in green tea help to prevent the outbreak of cancer in the body.

• Free Radicals – This is where the most special of green tea benefits shine: antioxidants. These little puppies are responsible for keeping your body clean of the effects of free radicals, and green tea has lots of them.

• Weight Loss – yes, you read it right: weight loss. Green tea works to help increase the fat-burning capabilities of your body, while preventing your intestinal track from absorbing excess cholesterol.

• Heart disease – remember the properties of green tea that helps prevent the intestinal track from absorbing excess cholesterol? Less cholesterol also means less chances that your heart will get coated in a layer of fat, so the risk of coronary heart diseases is lowered.

• Diabetes – One of the more important of green tea benefits is its ability to control and regulate your body’s absorption of sugar. This is especially important for people with diabetes type 1, where insulin levels are insufficient to control the sugar in blood.

• Liver-care – another interesting aspect of the green tea benefits is its ability to ‘flush’ the toxins out of your body. And one particular organ in your body that’s responsible for filtering the toxins out of your body is your liver. Green tea helps clean up your liver by absorbing the heavy metals and other nasty stuff in your blood that pass through the liver.

• Relaxing – of course, it’s not just about the chemicals too. Taking it easy and sipping a cup of green tea as you stare into space helps you calm your mind and collect your thoughts. This is one of the less obvious, but equally helpful, of green tea benefits.

Of course, no one can blame you if you might be a bit skeptical about these green tea benefits. It has all the makings of bogus medicines being sold in a shady corner. If that’s the case, feel free to search for scientific researches from around the world about tea. You’ll find all these benefits (and much more) if you look hard enough.

And besides, people have been drinking green tea for thousands of years. That means there’s something definitely good about it, right?

Do I Need A Weight Loss Boot Camp

With the success of various weight loss entertainment programs, a lot of people are starting to believe that they need to attend a weight loss boot camp. This is simply not true. Unless there is a medical reason why you cannot lose weight, a calorie controlled diet and an exercise program will make you lose weight.
Don’t think about being on a diet. Instead say to yourself that you are following a healthy eating program. Your mindset is probably the most important factor when determining your chances of losing weight. If you believe you will do it, the weight will come off. If you have doubts, you might as well give up now.

Start by educating yourself as to what foods you should be eating more of and the foods that should be consumed on special occasions only. We all know that eating crisps, chips, cakes and biscuits are not going to help us lose weight. But did you know that you actually should be eating more fat in your diet. What? You want to lose weight and I tell you to eat more fat. Well it is true, you should be increasing the amount of Omega 3 and 6 in your diet. Good sources are oily fish, nuts and pumpkin seeds. You need these fats to provide vital vitamins and minerals in your system but also to stop you becoming depressed.

Weight loss boot camps are not the answer to your long term weight loss. Education and exercise are the way forward. Knowing what you can eat and when will help resolve your weight problems. A good habit to get into is not to eat any starchy carbohydrates after 5pm.

I am not suggesting you never eat foods from the carbohydrate group – any diet that prohibits a complete food group is not a healthy eating plan and should be avoided. But it is a good idea not to eat bread, pasta or potatoes in the evening until you reach your weight loss goal and then only occasionally. Excess calories produced by carbohydrates are stored as fat and as you generally sleep at night; you don’t get the chance to burn off the excess. You will not go hungry as you can fill up on lean meat, vegetables and fruit. You should notice less bloating and increased levels of energy by following this one simple tip.

Drink more water. Most people do not drink sufficient water and often interpret thirst for hunger. If you have recently eaten and still feel “hungry”, try drinking some water. You should aim to drink at least 2 litres of water a day. It will help your energy levels as well as your diet.

Losing weight isn’t rocket science. Follow the above tips, buy a decent diet book and learn to cook your own food from fresh every day. Soon your weight issues will be a thing of the past and you will not be considering weight loss boot camps.
